BIOGRAPHY

Charlotte Haslund-Christensen (born and based in Copenhagen) is a graduate of ICP (The International Center of Photography), New York, and Fatamorgana (The Danish School of Art Photography), Copenhagen.
Social and political commitment and the meeting between documentary and art photography to explore the relationship between reality and representation are guiding themes in her work.
She has exhibited extensively both in Denmark and abroad, including New York, Paris, Warsaw, Helsinki and Venice. Her solo exhibitions include Natives: The Danes (2008), No Airport to Travel From (2006), JUMP (2002) and Inner City (1998). Haslund-Christensen’s works are in public collections including The Danish Arts Foundation, The National Museum of Photography, Denmark, and Museet for Fotokunst, Denmark.
The artist is represented by Peter Lav Photo Gallery, Copenhagen.
